Description

Bay Area Vintage Guitar is offering this killer 1967 Fender Super Reverb combo with all original electronics, transformers, and speakers. This fabulous amp has been well maintained throughout its life and sounds phenomenal, boasting a glassy aura that is a true hallmark of Fender design.

Featuring the highly sought-after AB763 circuit, this amp hits the sweet spot in the spectrum of black panel-era amps. It's a powerhouse with 40 watts of power through 4x10 speakers, two channels with tremolo and reverb, and a manageable enclosure. The original tube chart is intact, showing the production date of "51" from 1967. While it does not come with the footswitch, they are readily available online. The pictures of the bottom show the tolex has some tears, dings, and scrapes, and there is a spot on the lower back amp cover that has some touchup and does not affect its sound or sonic clarity. There is a slight tear below the Fender logo on the face of the amp. The plug has been updated for safety to a three-prong plug.

The dynamic, glassy cleans this amp generates are remarkable, making it a powerful tool for studio and professional performance use. It includes the original matching foursome of Fender 10" blue label speakers, original transformers, and tilt legs.

NOTE: This 57-year-old amp is offered in AS-IS condition, not because of any damage or perceived flaw but due to its uniqueness, age, and all-original condition. The amplifier has been checked out and tested, and it sounds great.

Please look at all photos closely, as they are part of the description and are of the actual item you will receive. Reach out with any questions.

As with most reverb amps, this one is heavy and will be packed very well in a custom box and shipped insured, which is reflected in the shipping cost of $350.
