  • Description: = ON HOLD = First year production model, with an estimated run of about 800-850 total made back in '54 - with a price tag of about $120. Features a single P-90 pickup, wrap-around stoptail bridge on a slab-board body. Mahogany neck with rosewood board and dot markers. All parts and electronics appear to be original and in working order. It isn't mint by any means - it's been well played, but not really beat up either. About an 8.0 cosmeticly. I love the sound of these old Jrs - nice & "nasty"! Great feeling neck too. Gibson original alligator "chip-board" case included, as well as some original Gibson 50's strings(assorted strings), a half-full bottle of original 50's Gibson Guitar polish and a 1954 Down Beat Magazine.
