    • Description: All original Loar period A-2Z snakehead. No cracks or repairs. Great sound and playability. The A-2Z was a variant made in the Loar period with an outer line of binding on the face and a different rosette pattern. All the desireable period features ; adjustable truss rod, slimmer neck profile, adjustable bridge. Some minor playing wear ,a fine mandolin.

    • Description: A very rare K-5 mandocello! This is possibly the ONLY post Loar K-5 that has surfaced. It was formerly owned and used by David Grisman. The instrument sounds great and plays very easily . There are a few crack repairs,overspray on the back and a perfect repro tailpiece made by Stephen Gilchrist.

    • Description: This is an interesting long neck A style . A snakehead A -2Z with an F-5 length neck.Black top finish, brown back and sides , sunburst neck. Two of these were custom made,one for Andy Statman ( this one ) and one for David Grisman. Excellent big sound. Two small wood grain cracks on the bass side, otherwise excellent.

    • Description: A fine original Martin mandolin with Brazilian rosewood back and sides. A bit fuller and warmer tone than the mahogany models. Some normal wear and a few scratches , but no cracks or repairs. Herringbone trim around the rosette and backstrip. Low action.
