  • Description: Berkowitz JB-28 fan-fret Baritone: USED - Year 2009, Near Mint. Extremely dark and lush, Old growth Black Brazilian Rosewood back & sides on this fantastic baritone. Not only did David use the best of the best woods, but he utilized the dual scale lengths that Fan Frets afford. The top is a 30 year old German Spruce. Ryan style top bevel. Manzer Wedge with the body tapering from 3.75" - 4.75". Bass side Sound Port. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Venetian (soft) cutaway. The soundhole is bound as is the fretboard. All Ebony bindings/bevel. Gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines with ebonoid buttons. Here's some dimensions: 16 5/8 lower bout, 20.5" body length. Ebony peghead with colorful abalone Berkowitz logo. This guitar has two sets of nuts/saddles for C-C and B-B tunings. The guitar is currently set for B tuning. The Scale spread is 28.75 - 27.5, with the 8th fret being the common fret.
