  • Description: Just a really, really great first effort from my good friend Bill Cunniff, and actually no reason for surprise since he possesses all the skill sets necessary, not least of which is his life long passionate involvement as a guitarist. From the comfortably contoured body and head stock with their hand rubbed nitro finish to the selection of highest quality parts and pickups, this has been a labor of love for him that has resulted in an extremely nice instrument. No time or expense spared here, we're talkin' as tight a neck pocket fit as you'll ever encounter, perfect frets; all work done by hand and very carefully. Cavities fully copper shielded, wiring and soldering as neat as any you'll see, even the string tree has been set into the headstock contour so that it sits perpendicular to the dominant plane of the headstock. All of this careful work combined with the Lollar 'Charlie Christian Set' pickups has resulted in a very lively, ballsy, smooth sound with warmth and punch, and a neck that feels like it was born in your left hand. 1 11/16" nut / "C" neck carve, 7.5 pounds, Babicz bridge, Hip-Shot tuners, Luxe capacitor: the list goes on...
