The hand-carved top has been broken in quite nicely and now exhibits a pleasantly balanced, mature tone. It responds very well to changes in dynamics and has a remarkably even response from top to bottom. The tone is warm, woody, and complex, and the acoustic sound demonstrates plenty of the midrange punch and sustain that the best archtops are known for. The stainless steel frets and nut are brand new. We also took this guitar to John Buscarino himself who looked it over and set it up in his own workshop in Franklin, NC.
