  • Description: Yes, a REAL Ferrington! These are truly rare as hens teeth. Danny Ferrington usually spends his time building guitars for well known players and Hollywood personalities. It kinda tough for the average Joe to get one. This is one of his signature style guitars that are owned by the like of Richard Thompson and Ry Cooder. It's super lightweight (7 lbs even) solidbody with a mini-hum in the neck and a Duncan Tele® style pickup in the bridge position and the top is nicely offset with tortoise binding. The neck is a single piece of Rock Maple with a birdseye Maple fretboard featuring black dot inlays and side dots. Simplicity is the word on the controls: 3 position pickup selecter, one volume and one tone. Mini- Grover tuning gears round out the package. This guitar has an amazing resonance which you can feel throughout your body whan playing unplugged - probably due to the lightweight body and superb neck pocket fit.
