Description

SN: 58867. All mahogany, small bodied guitar from one of the most desirable years in Martin’s Golden Era; 1935. It’s a little dog with a big growl, exceptionally fine tone, great clarity and volume. The 13.5” body has scalloped bracing, faux-tortoise pick guard and gloss finish. No binding. The neck is the classic “modified V” profile – 1-3/4” at the nut (ebony) and 2-3/8” string spacing at the bridge. Bridge and fingerboard are both Brazilian. Very comfortable action set to 6/64” on the bass side and just over 4/64” on the treble. There’s playwear south of the pick guard, some divots in the first position and a 3" crack in the back that is tightly glued. Weighing in at only 3lbs and 8oz, it’s the perfect porch swing or couch potato companion that will be heard in any jam. Comes with a nice, brand new Guardian case with a red plush lining. Currently out for some new tuner buttons (I chose black) but back soon.
