Description

SN: 82110. Here is an original wartime 000-18 in superior condition with one of the finest and cleanest Adi tops ever. Dark rosewood bridge and fretboard, mahogany back and sides. Some scratches on the sides, mostly from coming in and out of the old case, and a bit of button wear on the back. Otherwise, super clean no cracks. Neck profile is 1 11/16ths at the nut with a 24.75” scale. The bracing is scalloped. Recent maintenance includes an immaculate neck reset with a new saddle and complete refret. The interior is original – including bridge plate. The intonation is perfect, the tone is woody, bright and balanced, and it plays beautifully. The original tuners, wartime flat backs with plastic buttons, were in the case and are now installed. Comes with the original soft shell case.
