It’s amazing how much difference the type of wood can make in building an electric guitar. We ordered this “puppy” (get it... “Doghair”... Puppy) with a carved mahogany top. It really does sound quite a bit different than a maple top CL! We also had Jason Lollar “High Wind” pickups and a TonePros AVT-II bridge/tailpiece installed on this one. That basically equates to a guitar that has a beautiful warm tone and will sustain until you make it stop! Just amazing! Oh, and this “Dog” DOES hunt!
