  • Description: One day I was thinking. Every Collings CJ I have ever had in my shop has been shot in Tobacco Sunburst. While Collings undoubtedly has one of the very best “Burst” on the planet, still 99% of all Collings CJ’s are shot in Tobacco Sunburst. We custom ordered this Collings CJ with many of the visual appointments of the classic Collings D2H. This CJ has a beautiful natural “tight grained” Sitka top, perfectly matched Indian Rosewood back and sides, herringbone trim and back-strip, and an ebony bridge and fingerboard. We also had the fingerboard and headstock ivoroid bound. The guitar also features a 1¾ nut width. If that isn’t enough, it truly sounds and plays as good as it looks. This is a very cool custom Collings instrument that’s priced really well. We love this one.
