Description

Offered is this spectacular Collings I-35 built in 2009. This is the Standard I-35 model with the solid maple top, as opposed to the slightly less expensive laminated LC version. This one weighs just 6.4 pounds and has a nicely flamed tobacco sunburst nitro lacquer finish. This instrument was ordered with an Alder center block, but otherwise the specs are standard for this model: medium/fat '59 LP size "C" neck with 12" radius; 1 11/16" bone nut; 24 7/8" scale length; Lollar Imperial low-wind humbuckers; CTS 500K pots; Xicon caps; Tonepros tailpiece, etc. It plays like butter and sounds like a 335-style guitar should - woody and fat with great bite! This guitar is in near mint condition with virtually no signs of play except for a couple of hard to find string change scratches on the headstock overlay. Otherwise, this guitar is like new, frets included. It comes with it's original Ameritage case in similarly nice condition. This is a super high quality guitar that will provide years of playing satisfaction. A new version of this guitar will cost you $4,770, but you can get this near mint example for far less. Make it yours - you will be glad you did!
