Description: ***SOLD***
Be the coolest picker at your next Roots Band gig with this heirloom-quality, professional Deering Sierra 5-String Banjo!! This is a veteran player with plenty of stage presence and not just from the folky Hippy top mojo but also the sound of the pro pick up! Features a sand-cast, virgin bell bronze, genuine Deering tone ring mounted to a 3-ply rock-maple rim with a one-piece resonator flange. Uses the same tone ring rim and flanges as the Gabriella model. The mahogany neck, resonator with ebony fingerboard, planetary tuning machines, Presto tailpiece, 5th string Railroad spike capos at the 5th, 7th and 9th and a weather checked satin finish on the back enhance the classic appearance and playability of this powerful and affordable banjo. Resent pro set up with a new Snuffy Smith bridge. And what the heck, if the top isn't for you, we can replace it with a brand new Deering top, but we keep this one! See it played.
