  • Description: The Grosh 60`s Vintage integrates classic design elements of Sixties, pre-CBS single coils with a superior level of quality inherent in today`s boutique manufacturing industry. In order to create a pickup which would rightfully represent the Grosh name, Don has spent countless hours searching out and analyzing classic electric guitar pickups from the pre-CBS era. Don assessed that many pickups had a rich, throaty classic tone, but a select few exceeded the standard and were tonally exceptional. Using these as a benchmark, Don has crafted a pickup with percussive, piano like clarity on the low strings, while retaining sweet, thickness of tone in the high strings. The midrange is just right with rich harmonic content and a strong fundamental on each fretted note. 60`s Vintage sets come stock with a reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickup to eliminate hum in the second and fourth positions.
