  • Description: Personally, I love the idea of 13 fret guitars; a little bit bigger body (hence more sound) and 1 fret more reach than a 12 fret. Mr. Gilligan has also included not one, but two sound ports one on the upper bass bout (the usual placement) and another on the upper treble bout. Another great feature is the adjustable neck angle. The fretboard extension overhangs the top which allows the neck angle to shift with the use of two bolts which go through the heel and abut the rim under the heel. It's a very clever design and so easy even a bass player could do it.
