- Description: Here for sale is the super cool Airline 2P Deluxe model from Eastwood in high gloss red finish. This guitar sounds great and plays very well. The pickups are NOT garden variety imports but excellent sounding vintage voiced pickups made with care. Their tone has a great authentic vintage character with big yet controlled bass from the neck and a snappy punch in the bridge. Eastwood guitars are of outstanding build quality and we believe they are a tremendous value. Their fit and finish is flawless and their consistency and quality control is excellent. The fretwork and factory setups are always very good. We check over each Eastwood we sell prior to shipping to make sure it arrives to you ready to play! Airline? Guitars were made in the USA from 1958-68 by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. VALCO also made National and SUPRO brands. Today they are played by people like David Bowie, The Cure, Calexico and White Stripes. Original Res-O-Glas models now sell for $2,000-$3,000.
