  • Description: This is a one of a kind (I have never seen another and neither has anyone else that I have consulted) custom built Echoplex tape delay unit solid state. Made in the late 1960's. It features three heads with two that slide for different delays. This unit also features an eight channel mixer with XLR, ΒΌ" input jacks, five band graphic EQ, Treble, bass controls on each channel and a three way rotary switch that chooses between each head or a combination of both! The story that goes with this unit is that Echoplex custom built this for Les Paul. I do not have any documentation to back that up but that is the story that goes with it.
