  • Description: EMS Synthi A (pronounced synthee) Mk2 - The difference between the 1 and 2 is that the Mk2 has a heavier duty power supply for the keyboard sequencer port. Battle Prestopatch Card - Eurocard with a resistor matrix This unit is the same thing as the VCS3 but a different case roughly 700 were made. This is the classic unit. There are new ones being made called Cornwall units the specs are slightly different, the classics are unique. There will be 30 Cornwall units made and then there are no more parts. The briefcase units are and will remain rare. This is a 70's analog portable synth used by many big stars such as Pink Floyd, Brian Eno and Hakwind to name a few. It is the suitcase version. Create sounds with the pin operated "patch bay". Comes with a preset card for a factory set sound that you can alter if you want to avoid the pins. It has stereo speakers built in and a reverb tank. Just turn it on and go. Use the joystick to create wild, organic, spacey, haunting, even downright frightening sounds! Dr. Who would be jealous. Works perfectly. Rates 9 out of 10 in cosmetics.
