Description

1962 Epiphone FT-110 Frontier in good condition. Natural finish spruce top with walnut stained maple back and sides. This guitar was originally made with an adjustable bridge but has been converted to a wood non adjustable version. The work appears to be done by Gibson some time in the late 60s or early 70s. The pickguard has been buffed and the western motif mostly worn off. Traces of it can be seen with close inspection. The guitar is completely crack and break free. The tuners are the original single line gold Klusons which are often robbed for Gibson electrics like the Flying V, ES-345 and ES-355. Has a wonderful slim yet wide neck profile that Gibson used just for a few years in the early 60s. The sound is classic rock rhythm guitar all the way. There is a smoothness and compression that would record very well and is distinctly 60s Gibson jumbo. Has newer hard case.
