This 1967 Epiphone Riviera is finished in Sunburst and is all original and bursting with mojo. The flame maple semi hollow body rings like a bell and the mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard help to smooth the tone off. Just look at it. You don't see a top like that on every guitar coming out ofthe sixties! The neck features a very comfortable medium / slim rounded profile, bound fretboard, parallelogram inlays and the headstock is still sporting its original Kluson Deluxe tuners. The original patent sticker mini humbuckers on this Riviera sound wonderful. They are warm and clear sounding with plenty of punch. This might be due to the original Sprague capcitors that have remained in this guitar since it left the factory! Some other stand out features include the original patent number bridge, Frequensator tailpiece, Epi pickguard, original controls and solder joints and original hard shell case.
