  • Description: I love these early Epis. They were made in such low production numbers, so you never see a lot of them. This one is a 1965 model Wilshire with the body relief on the back. The hardware is all chrome except for one mini humbucker and the tuners. And is it light? Yes, it is, 6 3/8 pounds light. That's lighter than any Strat® or Tele® you ever saw. The mini humbuckers are just as powerful as the full size ones, but with less mud on the bottom end, and sweeter, cleaner mids and highs, yeah they absolutely sing... This one is all original with light wear, but was obviously well cared for. The Cherry finish is deep and totally un-faded. Even the neck back. The body color is just as vivid on the front as on the back. Maestro Vibrato is light and sweet. Just shake it a little. Frets are the large size and look original, and the rosewood fingerboard is in good shape and is un-pitted. Original Silver Rectangular Hard Case is included.
