  • Description: Epiphone Wilshire SB-432 Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1963), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 134777, cherry lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original grey chipboard case. A very early example of a "second generation" Epiphone Wilshire, the midline solidbody in the 60's Epi line. Pots and serial number date to 1963, the year these guitars we re-designed in a more Fender-like manner; this one has a couple of production quirks that mark it as one of the first of the new style.A great slim neck, very strong mini-humbucking pickups and a fairly rare stoptail (non-vibrato) setup make this a great player, as well.Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 1/8 in. (33.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.). All original, finish is shiny and beautiful as is the nickel plating. Some small cracks and two missing corners on the pickguard (due to shrinkage) and some strap melt to the back finish keep this away from near mint status. A truly great example! Excellent Condition.
