1951 Epiphone ZEPHYR DELUXE REGENT, a full acoustic guitar made by Epiphone before it became part of Gibson.
Epiphone was acquired by Gibson in 1957 and became Epiphone Banjo Corporation in 1928, but before that, in 1873, a violin and lute maker named "Anastasios Stathopulo" established a workshop in New York City. The first Epiphone was made in New York by "Anastasios Stathopulo", a violin and lute maker since 1873. This 1951 Epiphone ZEPHYR DELUXE REGENT is a full acoustic guitar made in Epiphone's New York workshop. The sides and back are made of beautifully grained maple on a spruce top used for violin and piano resonator panels, giving it a beautiful, clean, and expansive sound. Equipped with Epiphone's original New York pickups. Although the output is low, the pickups are easy to express nuance and have excellent high frequency characteristics. This is a quality full acoustic guitar that can be played with either a good raw sound or a good pickup sound, and both can produce a satisfying and beautiful sound.
