  • Description: A Fender® Banjo? Yes indeed! This is a Fender® 5-string Allegro model banjo. It was manufactured by Fender® from the late 60’s through the mid-70’s. There is a green label inside the wood ring which reads Allegro 03030 and Fender® Musical Instruments Corporation, Santa Ana, California. It is in very nice condition…we had to change the original head (included) which had a hole in it. The original frets are in great shape and we really love the 3-tone sunburst finish on the back of the resonator plate. There are some nicks and scratches but overall it’s in very nice condition. The 22 fret neck is straight and there are no cracks or repairs. The tuners work as intended. It comes with its hard shell case. IT SOUNDS GREAT!!!! As always, it will be professionally packed with care. Please note that for safety’s sake during shipping, the neck will be removed from the body of the banjo.
