  • Description: 2007 Fender® American Vintage '57 Stratocaster® Reissue is in like new condition, and in perfect playing order. Comes with the original Fender® hard case. Details: 12 3/4" lower bout width, 15 3/4" body length from neck pocket to lower strap button, 1 3/4" body depth, 1 11/16" nut width that tapers out to 2 1/32" at 12th fret, 25 1/2" scale length, weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces. Materials: 2-piece Alder body, bolt-on 1-piece Maple neck with Rosewood "skunk stripe", Maple fingerboard, 21 vintage style frets, black dot inlays, synthetic bone nut, 1-ply White 8-hole pickguard, parchment pickup covers, parchment control knobs, parchment pickup selector switch tip, Fender® decal on headstock, 2-tone burst finish. Hardware: Nickel hardware, American Vintage Single-Coil pickups in bridge/middle/and neck, master volume control, individual middle and neck tone controls, 5-way pickup selector, individual vintage-style bridge saddles, 6-screw vintage-style tremolo, Kluson-style tuning keys, string tree for B and high E string, non-original Schaller strap lock buttons. Brief History: The American Vintage Stratocaster® Reissues were first introduced in January 1982, Fender® produced a '57 Stratocaster® reissue and a '62 Stratocaster® reissue, along with a '52 Telecaster® reissue. The reissuing of these "Leo Fender® Era" guitars was an attempt to regain their reputation of being a high quality instrument manufacturer. These models are still in production to this day. Cosmetics: This guitar is literally in like new condition. No chips, dings, scratches, or dents to be found. The pickguard still has the protector film. There is some minor scuffing on the back bottom edge of the lower bout. The frets have barely any playing wear, the lacquer that covered the frets has come off. Which in turn, makes the guitar easier to play and do string bends. Playability: The neck is a soft V profile. Setup in-house with action that sits at 4/64 on low E and 3/64 on high E.
