Description

Up for sale is a real stunning 1963 Fender Bass VI, with all the play wear and character that one could ever want!

This complete Bass VI has a beautiful rosewood veneer fretboard and original frets and nut, the neck stamp is "MAY 63 A" denoting the slimmer neck profiles that Fender offered at this time. The wonderfully aged clay dots are also present and add just the right amount of off white to the fretboard.

All three pickups register at 7.5-7.8 Ohms and all of the solder is completely undisturbed.

The guitar at some point in its life had been sanded only on the back of the body. The guitars back was restored by Joe Riggio of Tacoma, Washington, who has long been lauded as one of the premier talents in vintage finish and restoration.

Along the neck finish, there is no play wear or damage and the guitar frets seamlessly and smoothly with a fresh set up.

Included is a non original Fender no tail logo bass case that is in fair condition for shipping but does not clasp across all latches.
