  • Description: This 1955 Fender® Bassman® is an outstanding sounding piece. The tweed covering is original, as is the handle, and has that "worn in" look to it that we all know and love. The speakers are original as well, 3 of them are from '55 and one is from '56, and correct. All speakers have been re coned, and work GREAT. Under the hood, it has been re capped, a bias control was added and was modified with the later (and much better sounding) diode. We could've went back and changed the diode and bias control to make it more like original specs, but since these modifications do improve the sound of the amp greatly, we thought it would be best to leave it as is. This 410 Bassman® aside from having the most pristine tube chart we've seen in a long time, sounds incredible, and is a great deal!!!
