  • Description: - Serial Number - C 05050 handwritten on tube chart. GH (Aug, 57) stamped on tube chart - Chassis Number - C 05050 - Pot dated to '57 - Cabinet could be a '56 or prior as it has the factory 5E1 tube chart, but it is definitely the 5F1 circuit - Original speaker has GH (Aug, 57) pressed into magnet cover and is in excellent shape. - New rectifier tubes (JJ 5Y3, JJ 6V6 & Groove Tubes 12AX7C)…Replaced first cap with F&T cap. It had already been replaced when we got the amp. We do have the original, working, orange Astron MM-16-450 cap. All else original, including handle, speaker, 2 prong cord, etc. - Tweed in very good condition. Some fraying on some of the seams and corners. No significant rips or tears. - Grill cloth in excellent condition - Handle in excellent condition - Speaker in excellent condition - Slight warping on upper panel of chassis, at inputs. No sign of impact damage on chassis or within the cabinet and does not hinder inputs in any way…Hardly noticeable unless you know it's there. - Fully inspected and serviced by Bill Keck - Extremely quiet when idle. See videos for hear for yourself. Have never heard a Champ® so quiet. - Sounds absolutely phenomenal
