Fender Custom Shop 2008 1971 Stratocaster Closet Classic
This is a transition spec 1971 Stratocaster Closet Classic model, reminiscent of Ritchie Blackmore's popular instrument.
It features a 1-piece 4-point maple neck, large headstock, F-key tuners, single string guide, neck-end truss rod, and a Closet Classic finish that reproduces the natural aging of the headstock and dulling of the hardware.
The neck is a Mid 69 "U" shape, the fingerboard radius is 7.25R with vintage type frets, and the pickups are equipped with hand-wired grey bobbin signed by Abigail Ybarra.
There is a large flake of paint (near the elbow) and two shallow dents (1st string side cutaway) on the body back.
There is almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
Only the arm has been replaced.
