Description

Offered here is another magnificent Stratocaster, this one by Fender Master Builder Jason Smith. In this guitar, Jason has recreated his vision of what a heavily-played '64 Stratocaster should be. The specs he has imbued this incredible guitar with include: a lightweight Alder body with Sage Green nitrocellulose finish, moderate aging and a total guitar weight of 7.6 pounds; a mid 60's oval C neck with depth measurements of .816" at the first fret increasing to .963" at the twelfth fret; a lovely dark Indian Rosewood fretboard with 9.5" radius, 6105 frets and a 1.650" bone nut; and for electronics, Custom Shop 60's single coils with VVT and a five way switch. With his name going on it, you can immediately tell that the Master Builder assembled the guitar with great care and exacting detail and you won't want to put this one down. The look, the feel and the tone of this guitar make it well worth the investment (IMHO). This seemingly unplayed 2014 model comes with it's original (mint) brown G&G case, the certificate of authenticity, build sheet, the Cruz Tools, strap, cable and paperwork, everything you would get if you bought it new, except for the price, which is substantially less than new. If you have yearned for a truly great Strat, you should put this one on your short list. Incredible....
