  • Description: Check out this 1956 Fender® 5E3 Deluxe. Original Jensen P-12R speaker, chassis is all original, even the original tubes are going strong! We bought this off the original owner who decided in 1964 to make his Tweed Deluxe look like the new Blackface Fenders with the help of a can of black spray paint......the good news is, that's as far as his upgrades went. My amp tech went through it and replaced caps as needed and put on a new two prong power cord (looks like the original)...that was all it needed internally. I had the cab professionally re-tweeded, replaced the broken handle, replaced the missing faceplate, and thoroughly cleaned it while it was dismantled.....so cosmetically it looks like brand new and internally its a stock '56. The replaced caps, handle, and power cord are included. Sonically, this amp is amazing, sweet and chimey to down and dirty....this is a holy grail tweed amp with unbelievable tone and the looks to match! More pics available upon request.
