Rare, first year, no logo, most collectable year of the Deluxe Reverb. Interior chassis date stamp is 29th week of 1964, all transformer and other date codes are 1964 & 1963.
Also includes Victoria Fender factory cover that was misprinted as a Vibrolux Reverb but is a Deluxe Reveb cover.
July 1964 Date stamp, AB763, 12K5-6 Oxford, dated 51st week of 1963, chassis serial number A 02230. Original foot switch & reverb tank. I am the 3rd owner. Tolex and grill cloth are in great shape, with some wear to the corners and bottom. Has some white house paint specs on the top that I have not removed. Original foot switch is included. Vibrato kicks in and out, works sometimes, could be foot switch connection. Reverb works and sounds great! Some scratchy pots will need cleaning.
I wanted a Deluxe Reverb that was reliable, and didn’t experience the intermittent breakdowns vintage amps are know for with old caps and resistors. This is ready for another 40 years of playing out in the studio, home, or at gigs. The speaker has been re-coned by Orange County Speaker.
The blue molded caps were all retained, only resistors, like the power tube grid resistors were out of spec and were changed. Matched tubes will not be matched if these resistors don’t match.

NOTE: two broken original knobs as shown (reverb & speed) but turn without sticking or rubbing.
NOTE: this Fender Amplifier is in perfect working order with all original parts including transformers and speaker (re-cone). At some point additional new tubes will be required and general maintenance performed for many more years of excellent tone.
