1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb

This 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb is in very good cosmetic condition and is in perfect working order. The baffle board, grill cloth, and handle have been replaced. The Tolex on the bottom of the amp is missing (see photos). The speaker has been replaced with a 1970s Fender 12” speaker. The wires from the reverb tank have been replaced and there are some nicks and dings in the Tolex from age and use.

This amp has been expertly serviced at Hime Amplification in Nashville, Tennessee. They performed a cap job, replaced a few resistors, and added a three prong cable for safe operation. The original tone caps are present. All four transformers are original - three of them date to the 27th, 40th, 46th week of 1966 and one of them dates to the 17th week of 1967. The potentiometers are original and there is a visible potentiometer code of 1376632 dating this component to the 32nd week of 1966. The tube chart located inside of the amp bears the stamped code of “QD” dating this chart to April of 1967.

This 1967 Deluxe Reverb sounds flat out fantastic. At lower volumes, this amp delivers incredibly clean articulate tones that are spectacular when plugged straight in and also excels as a pedal platform. When pushed, this Deluxe Reverb saturates into complex vintage overdrive that is more than capable of capturing some really incredible rock and roll and blues tones. If you are looking for an incredible all around amplifier for home, studio or stage, this Deluxe Reverb would be a fine candidate. These amps are legendary and this one is no exception!
