Brief History: Introduced in late 1965, major production began in 1966. The model did not go over well and was discontinued by 1970. String through body construction. Has a unique headstock, known as the "hockey stick". Used by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin on, the ever-classic, Stairway to Heaven track. Cosmetics: This guitar shows signs of many years of use. Has picking indents on the bass side of the pickguard from a heavy-handed player. Minor bumps and dings on top and back of body, mainly around the lower bout near the strap button. Has some small chips in the finish; one on each side of the back's contour, near the upper bout's strap button and the bass side's edge. Small patch of buckle rash, but does not break the finish. Slight playing wear on the back of the neck, treble side. Near the bass side horn and neckplate, the word "HELP" was scratched in the finish. Minor bumps and scuffs on top of headstock. Has finish checking on front and back of the headstock. No dents or chunks missing from fingerboard, frets have less-than-average playing divots on the first 2 and only on the G® and B string.
