1953 Fender Esquire

This black guard Esquire is about as good as it gets. It has been in a collection for years and is now available for sale. The condition is extraordinary for a guitar of this age. The frets appear to be original and still have considerable life left. There is only minimal fingerboard wear which is often a significant issue with maple neck Teles and Esquires. This is very aggressive guitar. It is loud and ballsy and bright. There is a small crack above the D tuner and a slight stress crack above the skunk stripe but it is only on the surface-it does not appear to go into the wood. Everything is original including the poodle case, the ash tray, the electronics, the tuners and, of course, the black pick guard. More photos coming including internals.
