  • Description: This example is an all original, vintage 1959 Fender® Esquire (sn# 348XX) in a beautiful blonde finish with one single coil pickup and its tweed case. This 51 year old top loader is ready for a new owner. The body is in great shape and although the finish has some dings and dents, it’s just some real honest wear and actually seems to add to the overall vibe of this awesome guitar. The single ply white pickguard has no cracks and looks great. Also included is the bridge cover (ash tray). The maple neck is in great condition. She’s straight, the truss rod is working as intended, and the action is real nice and low. The original Kluson Single Line tuners also work as intended. The frets are original and have plenty of play wear left on them. The nut and all other hardware are original as well. There is no visible neck date. The one single coil pickup reads 7.19 k ohms measured at the output jack The tone potentiometer’s date code is the 16th week of 1959 and the volume potentiometer’s date code is the 18th week of 1959. This classic beauty weighs in at 7 lbs 2 oz and as I mentioned earlier, will ship in its classic tweed case. As always, it will be professionally packed with care.
