  • Description: 1965 Fender® Jaguar® guitar with nice, professional, Lake Placid Blue refin. This attractive, affordable Jaguar® had some routing done in the past (see photo), prior to the refinish, however, the original pickups are now back in the guitar. All routing is covered and invisible with the pick guard on the guitar. Original parts are, body and neck (both refinished), trem block, rhythm switch, main tone pot and rhythm volume pot, neck plate, strap buttons, control plate, knobs, some screws, etc.

Known repro parts are tuners, main volume pot, tone cap, rhythm tone pot, string tree, bridge saddles (Mustang style, considered better), trem arm, and pick guard. The finish work on the guitar is top notch, every bit as good as an original Fender® custom color. It appears the frets have been replaced.

The serial number on the guitar is L81XXX. The neck date is APR 65. Tone pot is date coded 304 6516. The guitar plays and sounds great. A soft, gig bag is included.
