Here we have a really nice 1965 Fender Jaguar in excellent condition and just the right amount of wear.

The guitar has transition features, changes made in 1965 as CBS took over the company, namely the pearl dot inlays and the gold logo. Later models added binding to the fretboard and the "black' Fender logo. The pots are from early 1965 and the neck date is from April of the same year,

On arrival, the bridge pickup had low output. It was sent to Tom Brantley, a revered pickup repair and rewind specialist. He did a great job matching the sound and output. If I didn't tell you the work was done you wouldn't have any clue when you plug the guitar in.

The only other knock is the missing tremolo arm.

The guitar plays perfectly. The back of the neck has that feel that you can only find in a vintage Fender. The Brazilian fretboard is really dark. We gave the guitar a fret polish and crown. There is some pitting in the first fret, but the guitar is good to go for years as-is.

The original case is included.
