Description

If you love the look of CBS-era appointments, then you’ll love this 1967 Fender Jaguar in Candy Apple Red. Famously, this custom color saw two iterations of undercoats under a translucent red top coat. Guitars made before mid-1965 received silver undercoats, and guitars made post-1965 received gold, as is present on this Jaguar. Alongside the finish, these CBS specs boast a bound rosewood board with block inlays, a large headstock, and a CBS-era black logo. This guitar remains original, including its frets, bridge, and trem arm. For continued functionality, a new mute has been installed on this guitar. This offset plays exceptionally, and its pickups sound incredible. It’s perfect if you’re going for that surf look or sound but for a smaller budget than its pre-CBS counterparts.

Overall Condition: 7.5, general playwear, patina, checking, and some impressions into the finish on the back of the body
