Description

Up for your consideration is an exceedingly rare Fender Brown Tolex ‘Knuckle-buster’ case with gold lining, suitable for the crazy rare stack knob Jazz Bass. This of course can also be used for a Precision Bass as well, but I digress. The case is in decent shape, showing hot-glue repairs here & there, and small bits of the leather ends missing, but the Tolex is in relatively good condition. Overall, it’s structurally sound; the lid does lean slightly backwards when open, but it doesn’t flop over. The latches lock but the springs no longer function. Ok, it’s not the best case money can buy, but it’s decent, and the first issue knuckle-buster version is insanely rare, more so than the bass that belongs in it. It took me over a year to find such a case, but by the time I did, I no longer needed it. So if you need one of these, DO NOT drag your feet!!! Domestic shipping is set at $200 and international shipping is $500.
