Description

If you want a vibey bass, look no further than this 1964 Fender Jazz Bass in its original Tangerine Sparkle Burst finish. This bass is super worn in, from neck to body and everything in between. You can see that this sparkle finish was done over one of Fender’s signature grey undercoats. Fender would have authorized this body to be sent out of the factory for the sparkle paint job. Bodies deemed to receive a factory sparkle finish would either wind up at a local autobody shop or, more often than not, land in the hands of Fullerton native and friend of Fender Dennis Swiden. On top of receiving this uber cool, one-off finish, you can really tell this Jazz Bass sounds and feels fantastic. Why else would it be this worn and played in?! Previous owners have loved this instrument and really shown it, wearing the finish on the neck and body down tremendously.

Overall Condition: 6, clearly a ton of playwear throughout the bass
