Description

We love this incredible 1965 Fender Jazz Bass in Firemist Silver with a matching headstock! After nearly a decade after creating and dominating the solid-body bass market with the Precision, Fender decided it was time to introduce a deluxe bass model to their catalog. In the summer of 1960, the wonderful curves of the Jazz Bass were newly available for purchase. The string spacing is slightly narrower than the Precision and quickly became a favorite for many musicians, including John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, and Jaco Pastorius. This beautiful bass is all original except for a changed mute. The original remains in the case. The clear coat on this guitar has beautifully aged to a lovely minty shade, with some of the true Firemist Silver showing through the forearm and back contours.

Overall Condition: 8.5, some playwear and finish wear, with an even yellowing to the entire clear
