Just in is another killer all original 1980 Jazz Bass in an International color we’ve not seen on any Jazz Bass ever, the bright “International Colors” were used for the Precision Bass along w/a few Teles & Strats but never on a Jazz, it has its original stunning “Maui” Blue finish over an Alder body showing very little play time other than 1 chip on its back edge, its super clean white bound white block inlaid Rosewood Neck has been perfectly refretted, its original white pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s best & last great Post-CBS Jazzes, its loaded w/2 vintage original pickups that are funky w/that quintessential “Jazz Bass” sound !, its serial # designates it to be from 1978, but its pot codes date to the 2nd week of 1980 as many of these were not completed for a year or more, its so cool & original from its tuners to its bridge, it has a groovy slight patina for a 42 year old original, still extremely blue w/almost no greening at all, it plays & feels excellent, she’s truly near mint overall having killer sustain & tone qualities, comes w/a decent hard case
