Beautiful Shoreline Gold body only refinish by Fiesta Finishes. Photographs a little silver, which is the sign of a good Shoreline Gold finish. Original finish on neck is in nice shape, with some finish wear down to the wood on the back from the first to 1st to 10th fret area, which lends a cool played in vibe. 7lbs 13 oz

Body finish has a few small scratches and scuffs to if from being assembled, but this guitar was never played much or gigged since I had the refinish work done to it. You will be the first one to be using it with its old school vintage era correct nitrocellulose lacquer professional grade refinish.

Original knobs, switch tip is a reissue. Trem arm is not included. Original strap button is on the tail only. All original screws and parts including tuners and pickups with original windings. Clay dot Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Correct era single line Kluson Deluxe tuners with original string ferrules and screws. Original string tee & screw, original neck plate and screws are in beautiful shape. Original frets show some typical wear for their age, nut is original. Pot date 304-6309 1 Meg.& 304-6101 1 Meg. Fender did not use a lot of 1 Meg pots..I can see this pot being two years old easily.

Nut: 1.656 “ width at the nut

Neck Thickness:

1st fret : .82

7th fret : .91

12th fret : .98

The tortoise pick guards from the early 1960’s are notorious for shrinkage - this was no exception. I painstakingly did some sanding where needed at the routes relieve the stress so the guard would fit correctly. Any real vintage 1960’s Jazzmaster tortoise pick guard you see from the early 60’s is going to have this same issue, some of them with cracking, a lot of them replaced.

Aluminum shielding plate under the pick guard has a prior owners name & id info, along with a few small drawings added so he could identify the guitar if ever misappropriated.

All the parts are in great shape. This is a great Jazzmaster, that I had refinished the right way, with a really cool custom color, which goes really well with the red pickguard and the rosewood neck. Does not have a case, but will be double boxed for shipping.
