Description

Super cool and fantastic sounding 1964 Fender pre CBS Jazzmaster in it’s original sunburst finish. Neck date 4JUNE64B, pot codes 3046412 and 1376419 dating to the 12th and 19th week of 1964. This example has mostly pre CBS features such as clay dots, L serial plate, and Kluson single line tuners. It does have a transition logo which has somewhat flaked off, but is original. The tailpiece was replaced with a Pat Pending 1958-1961 tailpiece and there is an added ground wire, aside from this the guitar is entirely original. Overall it’s in very good condition with a decent amount of finish checking, dings, dents, and play wear on the body. The neck is fairly worn in and feels fantastic. The original gray fiber pickups are loud, clear, and punchy. All the electronics have been cleaned out and function great. No trem arm with this one and it comes with a new hardshell case.
