  • Description: This all original Jazzmaster™ is in super condition. The contoured body has an offset waist designed for comfort. It weighs 8 pounds. It's one piece maple neck features nice vertical figuring. The 21 fret single bound rosewood fingerboard is a 25 1/2 scale with nine block pearloid inlays of descending size. The width at the nut, including the side binding, is 1 5/8". Other characteristics include Fender® six in a line chrome tuners with small buttons, two soapbar single coil pickups with white covers, two white hat knobs with black lettering, chrome hardware, 3 ply white pickguard, a Fender® tremolo, and an extra long trem arm with a white tip. The unique Jazzmaster™ electronics consist of a three way selector switch, volume and tone roller knobs on the bass side with volume and tone knobs on the treble side and a selector switch for each set of volume and tone controls. The engraved serial number is on the neck plate above the large F. The Fender® Jazzmaster™ lettering on the large headstock has black and gold lettering with 5 sets of patent numbers. This is a nice playing guitar with very minimal fret wear. The tone is warm and mellow. There are two small cracks in neck binding, three or four tiny dings in the finish on the edges, and very limited amount of weather checking. It comes with a new Fender® Jazzmaster™ case.
