The distinctive Hot Rod Red Mark Knopfler Artist Series Stratocaster® is exactly the right instrument for Mark Knopfler fans. Three Texas Special Single-Coil pickups mounted in a 3 ply mint green pickguard on an ash body give it the unmistakable voicing of Sultans of Swing (position 2 on the 5 position pickup selector). The 1962 style "C" shaped maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, a curvy 7.25 inch radius, and pearl dot inlays. Both the neck and body are finished with a nitrocellulose laquer.
On this guitar you also get an American Vintage Sychronized Tremolo with a chrome bridge cover, Vintage Style tuning machines, and Mark Knopfler's signature on the headstock.
