1957Made in 1957 Musicmaster!!

Introduced in mid-1956, the musicmaster was marketed as Fender's student model.
According to one theory, Fender released it as a competing model after receiving information that Gibson was going to release a Les Paul Jr 3/4 in the same year.
The scale is 22 1/2" (572mm), which is considerably shorter than Telecaster/Stratocaster.

The musicmaster, released as a student model, is very simple compared to other Fender models, with no contouring on the elbow/back and all assemblies mounted on an anodized pickguard, so that wiring can be completed on the pickguard. This allows the wiring work to be completed on the pickguard, which also reduces the cost of assembly.
The head has the same shape as that of the Stratocaster.

The neck is a typical 1950s V-shape, and when the neck is gripped in the shake hand style, it has a fit that is difficult to experience with current models.
The bridge uses a bridge plate made of bent steel plate, which was invented at the same time as the electric mandolin, and the saddle is a pre-1958 specification without spiral groove cutting.

Although it is a Student model, you can feel the personality of Fender in the 1950s, and the one-piece maple neck has a quick startup, and you can feel the delicate color in the punchy sound.
The one-piece maple neck has a fast startup and a punchy sound with a subtle coloration.

This model has the specifications of the Musicmaster when it was first released!
