  • Description: She’s back! CAR 62Pbass – Nov 62 neck and mostly correct components. When we 1st acquired the bass it had wrong pots – we installed 6350 dated pots. At the time it had a repro guard installed and there is 1 extra hole in the body from that. The orig guard was with the bass and is presently installed but the tin plate has since gone awol. The orig guard does not have any extra holes. The bass when out of our possession may have been mildly polished and is not quite as patina’d as last time we had it. All parts other than mentioned are correct. The finish is FACTORY original CAR over oly white with the light gold base coat. It’s a late 62 and we know this is correct. The dealer we bought the bass from years ago confirmed it was correct as did 2 other vintage dealers who are experts. Reason we are saying this is a prior retailer thought this was not. We assure you it is. Being she changed mildly from the last time we owned this, we have the price dropped by a few. The tone is still insane, the playability is still insane and she still looks insane! Has a late 63 early black tolex case which most likely is original.
