We’ve just acquired 1 of the rarest & all original “Custom Color” 1966 Fender Precision Bass on the planet, its has its 100% original “Ice Blue Metallic” finish over a lightweight Alder body, its 4-bolt Rosewood Neck is super clean w/perfect logo & frets, its ink date stamp is from February 1966 & she has pot date codes from the 7th week of 1966, its original White pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Fender’s most beautiful P Basses ever produced, its pickup is super smooth w/that quintessential Jameson tone !, its so original from its tuners to its bridge & she still retains its bridge & pickup covers along w/every single screw from new, it has a gorgeous patina w/some perfect weather checking for a 57 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, its lightweight having killer sustain & tone qualities, this custom color was only offered from Fender between 1965 & 1969, she’s an exceptional example w/just a few pings & comes w/its matching Black Tolex Hard Case.
